McNairn Packaging traces its roots to 1882, making it one of the older names in North American food packaging. The company operates "world-class manufacturing facilities located in Canada and the United States," with locations at 125 Consumers Drive, Whitby, Ontario and 6 Elise Street, Westfield, Massachusetts, and today operates as a brand of ACR (Amercare Royal). McNairn manufactures food packaging for the food service, supermarket, bakery, and food processing markets, including paper bread and specialty bags, baking cups, baking and freezer papers, basket liners, and interfolded sheets - the paper bread bags and freezer paper rolls AFS Marketplace carries from the brand. The company states its products meet FDA, USDA, and Agriculture Canada regulations, and that it "meets with distinction all ASI and HACCP industry standards for food safety."
