D&W Fine Pack took shape in the 2000s and 2010s as parent company Mid Oaks Investments LLC combined a series of foodservice packaging manufacturers, including Wilkinson Industries (acquired 2004), Dispoz-o Products and C&M Fine Pack (both 2009), and Tri-City Packaging (2010), later adding CM Packaging Group in 2011. The company now operates manufacturing facilities across California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Nebraska, and South Carolina — including a 650,000-square-foot plant in Fountain Inn, SC that received a $20 million equipment and machinery investment — and employs more than 1,700 people. D&W Fine Pack describes itself as among the largest foodservice packaging companies in North America, manufacturing aluminum pans and lids, bakery and rigid food service containers, hinged multipurpose containers, produce packaging, and tableware, including the foam and plastic take-out and bakery display containers AFS Marketplace carries. The company has built out a sustainability-focused product line, using a minimum of 60% recycled content in its PET resin and aluminum products, selling 100% of its post-industrial aluminum scrap rather than sending it to landfill, and offering proprietary materials such as C-Green polypropylene and NaturesPLAstic (PLA).
