Keene Corporation acquired the business in the late 1960s, operating it as its Keene Cutting Services division, and in the early 1980s Keene merged Keene Cutting Services with Atlantic Service Company (founded by Daniel W. Martin) to establish KASCO Corporation. The company opened a manufacturing facility in Matamoros, Mexico in 2005 and acquired Atlanta SharpTech in 2006, adopting the KASCO brand identity used today.
