Morcon Tissue was established in 1987 by Wayne Morris, who moved from farming into paper converting; the company's name is short for "Morris Converting." Morcon is headquartered in Saratoga Springs, New York, with manufacturing and distribution operations in Greenwich, New York and Great Falls, South Carolina. The company manufactures paper towels, bath tissue, napkins, and dispensing systems for commercial and institutional use, sold under its Morsoft and Valay brand names - including the hardwound and center-pull towels, interfolded and tall-fold napkins, and JRT and small-core bathroom tissue AFS Marketplace carries from the brand, along with matching Valay dispensers. Morcon Tissue is Green Seal certified and an ISSA member, and has been recognized as a Times Union Top Workplace (Albany, 2024) and as the Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce's 2017 Business of the Year.
