Sterilite 7.3 Gallon Locking TouchTop Wastebasket, White - 4/Case

Sterilite was founded in 1939 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts by brothers Saul and Edward Stone, along with Earl Tupper (who later left to found Tupperware). The company relocated to nearby Townsend, Massachusetts in 1968, which remains its headquarters today. Sterilite describes itself as the largest plastic housewares manufacturer in North America, operating seven manufacturing plants across the continent with more than 12 million square feet of production space. Its catalog centers on home storage and organization: clear and opaque storage totes, the gasketed Ultra•Seal food storage line, drawer units, carts and towers, baskets, bins and crates, laundry baskets and hampers, wastebaskets, pitchers and bowls, and garage and office storage systems. The company positions its business around continuous product improvement and efficient, sustainable manufacturing, and its Ultra•Seal food storage products are marketed as BPA-free, phthalate-free, and freezer/microwave/dishwasher safe.
