Volk Packaging Corporation was founded in 1968 by Benjamin Volk and his son Kenneth, launching a corrugated box plant as the first tenant of Biddeford Industrial Park in Biddeford, Maine. The company is now led by Derek Volk, representing the third generation of Volk family leadership. Volk manufactures corrugated boxes and custom packaging, operating a 141,000-square-foot production facility in Biddeford and offering a supply program of more than 20,000 packaging products alongside custom design services. In 1991 the company co-founded Newcorr Packaging, a Massachusetts sheet feeder, to secure a steady supply of board. In 2021, Derek Volk founded Volk Paxit, a repackaging, prepackaging, kitting, and fulfillment operation in Sanford, Maine. Volk Packaging employs nearly 120 people.
